Returning to the Mat: Introducing Yin Yoga Wellness

Returning to the Stillness

Dear Friends,
It's been a long time since I've written to you.
Over the past year, life has invited me to slow down, reflect, and deepen my own practice in ways I hadn't expected. While I've not been regularly sharing updates, my journey with yoga has continued to unfold quietly in the background.
Like many of us, I've experienced periods of challenge, change, learning, and growth. Through it all, yoga has remained a steady companion, reminding me of the importance of presence, self-compassion, and coming home to myself.
One aspect of my practice that has become increasingly meaningful is Yin Yoga.
In a world that often encourages us to move faster, achieve more, and stay constantly busy, Yin offers something different. It invites us to pause, soften, listen, and simply be.
What began as a physical practice has become a deeper exploration of stillness, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and rest.
Over the last year, I've become increasingly interested in how practices such as Yin Yoga can support our overall wellbeing, helping us navigate stress, restore balance, and reconnect with ourselves in a more sustainable way.
This journey has inspired the next chapter of my work.
In the coming months, I'll be sharing more about:
• Yin Yoga and its benefits
• Rest and recovery practices
• Nervous system wellbeing
• Mindfulness and self-reflection
• Deep Rest & Reset workshops and experiences
My intention is to create spaces where people can step away from the pressures of everyday life and reconnect with clarity, calm, and a sense of inner balance.
For now, I simply wanted to reconnect and say hello.
Whether you've practised with me before or are newly joining this community, I'm grateful you're here.
I'd love to hear from you.
How are you doing? What has been supporting your wellbeing lately?
With warmth and gratitude,
Yours,
Dhanya
